Body Image

After many conversations on this subject I decided to write about it. The views I am writing are mine and possibly the opinions of people I have spoken to about the subject, I am based in the UK so societies views may differ wherever you are. (I know my blog is read in the US and Australia more than the UK)

With the media using tools such as those ‘who has the best beach bod’ articles in magazines and the scantily dressed dancers in music videos to make us feel inadequate we’ve got no chance of enjoying ourselves! Think about everything the girls are watching on TV now, The fucking Hills, 9021 fucking 0, The fucking Kardashians and the fucking music channels. Not only are they all a mass of mind numbing dribble, but they’re promoting what I call ‘Californication’… Nobody is supposed to have the perfect body, perfect smile, perfect hair 24 hours a day and the biggest tits on the beach!
I think it is quite dangerous to have celebrity lifestyles rammed down our throats in the manner it is and I find it shocking how many people actively seek information about what these shallow ass hats are up to!
For instance;

If you think this is how you’re going to look after childbirth, girls, THINK AGAIN! This is just another example of the media showing you how perfect everything is for Beyonce and her pals while you lay in a bed covered in blood and shit with blotchy skin, out of breath forcing a Big Mac down your throat! (Please read my McDonalds blog, shameless advertising!) In the second Picture you see Beyonce glowing walking along the beach in L.A. after a few months of complete relaxation while her team of child minders change nappies and do the night shift and her dieticians and physicians have had a while to make sure she looks like her usual self. I promise you, three months after birth, you’ve had 90 days of changing nappies and being puked on, 90 nights of sleep in ten minute intervals and countless friends and family showing up taking pictures and fucking off leaving you only with a pile of cups to wash! You’ll be lucky to throw a pair of jogging bottoms on and walk down the high street! Yet another unachievable goal forced upon the public that the girls feel they need to live up to…
Personally I don’t understand why girls see stuff like this (below) in magazines and feel the need to live up to it;

These girls look like they could do with a meal and the plastic ‘additions’ some of them have are more suited to swimming pool safety than something you would carry around in your bra on a daily basis.

Television programs like ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ or ‘The Hills’ promote an unobtainable lifestyle that girls are unknowingly forced to aspire to. Everyone who reads this must have either thought ‘I want to live the L.A. lifestyle’ or seen somebody post something similar on a social networking site. The minute everyone realises that false lips, false tits, false hair and false eyebrows is not what men are attracted to the better. Please take a moment to look at the girls below;

We all know Katie Price, here we can clearly see her FALSE tits, FALSE lips, FALSE forehead, FALSE cheeks, FALSE hair and FALSE teeth. The second model is Lea T, the 2010/11 face of French designer Givenchy. Yet again FALSE tits, FALSE lips, FALSE forehead, FALSE cheeks, FALSE hair and FALSE teeth. The difference is ladies and gentlemen, even though Lea is without doubt the better looking of the two, she was born male and christened Leandro. The fact that Lea is transgendered takes nothing away from her rank of 42 out of all world female models, says a lot about all the plastic retards the girls feel the need to emulate!

So girls, if you want to look like an unconvincing transgendered beauty… reach for the Botox!

There are countless pictures on the internet with this message;

Yet there are still millions of girls with self-confidence issues cause by the media’s obsession with telling you it’s wrong to be anything other than Victoria Beckham! It’s not wrong to be you!

Let’s not forget the lads throughout all this. If we want to read a magazine about football, formula 1 or anything for that matter! They are full of ‘85% of the women we surveyed agreed that **** has the best six pack’ or ‘how Daniel Craig achieved his physique for James Bond role’. The fact that footballers are finely tuned athletes and actors are given hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of professional training and dietary care as well as some anabolic help!

In my experiences it is the girls who are paranoid and false that make public their adoration of male celebrities with such features. Hopefully a day will come when each of them grow up and taste the real world.

To summarize;

Male, female, transgendered, cat, dog, smurf… we all have different shapes and sizes, your life will be far more enjoyable when you accept that you are you and remember, nobody can love you until you love yourself!

  1. It's not just women that need to swerve the advertisers agenda its all of us . The greatest thing is to compliment the girl with the natural smile and beauty , Appreciate her curves lumps and bumps . A pretty smile may hold your gaze for a few seconds but her beautiful mind will hold you for a lifetime . Peace & Love .Colin
